Here I am again with AppleTalk problems Part II:
How can I copy files over my network from OS X to a OS 9 Mac?
Whenever I mount my OS X HD on the OS 9 machines desktop, most of the files filenames which I want to copy change to "#???? somewhat". When I try to copy them, Finder says that it could not access those files.
I know that this error occurs because OS 9 can't handle files with filenames longer than 31 characters. But I thought AppleTalk would automatically handle this and shorten down the filenames when accessed by a OS 9 System?!?
Is my system misconfigured, messed up or is this a bug in the current OS X AppleTalk version?
