appleworks 6.2.2 - apple' s been listening!!

Well, I just got my appleworks 6.2.2 and it is great to see 100% back in the page setup dialogue for my older documents. it prints fine on my quick test. they also say it translates word docs now. I know this re-establishes some of my faith in apple. I still don't understand why they couldn't get this right before now. I haven't tried the dock thing but i am really hoping I can move it back to the side.

I still don't understand how apple can include IE in software update and not appleworks!!! This is inane!! insane!!! blatantly offensive!!!!!

dock seems to move ok without interfering with the things it did previously. anybody else tried it yet?

Usually, the stuff in Software Update is stuff that comes default on the Mac. Things like IE and iTunes, etc. Apple Works has to be bought, so it's not included.

actually appleworks comes default on many macs - it was on mine. If software update can tell that my imac needs the dvd update and my girlfriend's new imac doesn't, it should be able to update my appleworks and not show it for people without appleworks. don't you think so?
