AppleWorks Scrolling Toooo Fast

How can I slow down the scrolling in AppleWorks 6.2.9? I can't grab the scroller and scroll that way, because many documents are so large, that only takes me through several pages at a time, and I need to be able to scroll through each page, slowly.

The page up/down arrows on my iBook don't work either. They only move the cursor up or down.

Any ideas welcomed. Thanks.

Actually, the Page Up/Down arrows DO work on your iBook.

Right now, they're acting as arrow keys: they move the cursor up or down.

However, if you hold down the "fn" key (in the lower left of your keyboard) and THEN hit the Up/Down keys, they act as Page up and Down keys. The keys do double-duty.

As for slowing down AppleWorks scrolling... I dunno man. Whack your iBook upside the head a few times.

Sorry I couldn't help, more. heh.

Thanks adambyte for the fn tip! That helps tremendously. Hopefully, somebody will write software to control the scrolling in AppleWorks for OSX 10.3.5 someday, but until then, at least I can use the fn key and keep my sanity!
