I use cable modem (made by Com 21), DHCP server, dynamic IP address. I have the most standard internet provider in France (cable wanadoo).
Internet works fine when:
I use OSX applications
OR
I boot directly in MacOS 9.2.2
However, ALL classic applications which need internet (including Apple's iTunes and Software Update) cannot connect to internet in the classic environement of OSX.
The network is configured correctly (DHCP ) in the Network Preferences of OSX and the computer gets an IP address (which can also be read in the classic panel TCP/IP)
I installed 9.2.2 and 9.2.1 on of my 2 disks and OSX on the second one.
