Are there separate SuperDrives ?

Hi,

I bought an Indigo iMac with the 8xCD-RW drive about a year ago. Now I'm looking forward to rent some DVDs, so I'd like to add a DVD reader/burner to my Mac.

Is there anyway I can read DVDs on my iMac ? Are there separate SuperDrives ? Separate readers ? Thanx for answers

Well, I belive there are but the Burners are expensive. And they won't work with Apple's own iDVD or apps like that.

the pioneer a04/104 is the model of the superdrive, you can find it oem for not to bad of prices, ive heard it works flawlessly
