Asus WLAN Adapter

I've installed the ASUS USB2.0 WLAN adaptor - a good cheap alternative to the obsolete airport card (costs £20). I entered my profile in the wireless utilty including WEP key. Now when I start the computer, the wireless utility window pops up and I have to click on 'Profile', then 'Connect' in order to get on-line (wirelessly). Is there any way of having the computer do this automatically on start-up? I am using an i-mac, G4, OSX.3.5. Thanks.

Hi - having the same problem - keep looking for an update on the driver - seems you have to take the dongle out and back in again to get the system to see it - then I have had issues with the OS 10.3 TCIP - but when it all gets together it works better then my original Airport card.
