Auto Sleep Prevented by Personal File Sharing

Just installed 10.2.1 on my Pismo Powerbook and, unlike 10.1.x, it seems as though Energy Saver settings are ignored and deep sleep is prevented if Personal File Sharing is turned on. Once Personal File Sharing is off, the computer goes to sleep normally.

There is a thread on this issue on MacFixIt.com, so I believe that this issue is somewhat widespread. I'd be curious to know if others are having this problem.

Since I have my Powerbook connected to my LAN, it is extremely inconvenient to have to remember to turn off file sharing just to allow the computer to sleep. It would make more sense to prevent auto sleep only if a networked volume is mounted on the desktop, not simply when sharing is turned on.
