Is there a way to get automator to run a workflow on files in successive folders within a given folder.
What I am trying to do is automate numbering within folders of dated files (dates contained in the names) so they will sort in order of date. I have succeeded in making a workflow that can do this for one folder, but I would like to run this or a variation of it automatically on successive folders within a folder.
I have some minimal but successful experience with Automator. I have also succeded at altering an existing applescript, but I would guess that there was an dose of luck involved with that. I do have some understanding of what is needed, but it is minimal. My computer knowledge is strong, but this is nearly my first foray into automation and scripting.
