Automatically redial a dropped connection

How do I set OS X to automatically redial if my dial-up connection is dropped? There has to be a setting somewhere that controls this.

This is the only thing I see that may be helpful, but I don't have a modem setup, so there may be other options to redial;

1. Open System Preferences and click Network.
2. Choose Internal Modem from the Show pop-up menu.
3. Remove the checkmark next to "Disconnect if idle for __ minutes" or increase the number of minutes.

No, that doesn't do it. The reason I need to reconnect is because sometimes the line drops. Dial-up ISPs are notorious for this, and I'd like to leave the connection on all night to download something and an auto-reconnect feature will be so very helpful.

That's great. Thanks bobw. Just a quick question though, what were the search terms you used to find these apps?
