Hey guys. I have a .avi with a sound synching problem...i was wondering if there was any way to break up an avi into sound and video and then i would just synch them using iMovie.
Thanks
Bob

Sure, just drag it into iMovie, then press apple-J to extract the audio from the selected clip.

It won't let my import to iMovie because there's not enough available disc space. And i have the Perian codec, ive tried running it in both VLC and quicktime, but both have the same problem.
thanks for your help though

If you have QuickTime Pro, it's a piece of cake. Open the movie in QuickTime Player, select Window>Show Movie Properties, and then extract the tracks. Then you can re-merge them in QuickTime Player by copying one and adding it over the other at the appropriate time index.

Well, is there enough disk space? Are you running FileVault?
