S Snark Registered Dec 20, 2004 #1 The wifi on my brand new ibook is really lame. Its a linksys hotspot and may parents older ibooks using gen.b cards receive great reception. What could be wrong? I mean, im just outside the room with the damned transmitter in it and I have 1 bar!!

H HateEternal Mac Metal Head Dec 20, 2004 #2 Thats weird, maybe pull off the keyboard and make sure the antenna is securely attatched.
