B & W G3 and wireless

The place where I work is going wireless and of course my B & W is not (wireless).

Can anyone recommend the equipment I need?
Does the D-Link USB wireless work?

Is there a PCI card available that will work with a Mac?

Once installed, will Airport make the connection?

I wish they just hard wired the place

What kind of wireless connection scheme are they using? If it is 802.11b or g, you can use an Airport or Airport Extreme card.

The B & W is not Airport ready. The airport card needs to 'sit' and the cards for the airport that Apple sells are for G4s only.

I don't think there are pci adapter-wifi cards that come with Mac drivers, but IOXperts claim that they have a driver for at least one:

D-Link, Belkin, SMC, Netgear and Linksys all have wireless PCI cards. You'll have to check to see if any will work with your Mac.

D-Link has an Ethernet to Wireless Bridge that may work. I would contact D-Link about it.

I ordered the Ethernet to Wireless Bridge. I'll let you guys know when I get it working.
(Wireless equipment is installed in the building, just not turned on --- yet).
