I have an old Performa 6100 that I'm donating to a charity which claims to need it.
The only real problem with it (other than being to old, slow and small for most new apps) is that its battery died. This is the battery that keeps the date/time and also has something to do with booting up because now when you turn it on you have to flip the switch twice in rapid succession.
The question is whether anyone knows what sort of battery this is supposed to be (it looks like a half of an AA type battery, but is not labelled in any useful way) and where I can buy another one. I looked at the batteries available at all of my local stores and none look like it, and I can't get it online unless I know what it is called.
