battery health and maintenance

my first question is i've had my macbook laptop 6 months now, according to istat pro, my battery health is at 93% after 33 cycles. Is this normal? I don't use the battery that much, and usually keep it out of my laptop, just run it on ac power most the time, is this a good method, or should i try to use the battery more?

secondly, i downloaded the "maintenance" app from the apple website since it was ranked pretty high up in the commonly downloaded programs. i read through the help and i honestly don't understand a lot of the jargon. so my question is what should i check under maintenance, cleaning and reset if i just use my comp for normal internet/word processing/picture & video use, and want to get rid of some of those things i don't use much to make it a little faster?

thanks

It is bater for your batterij to be used at a regular base, thus loading and unloading it. Having it charged all the time is very bad for the battery, keeping it out a lot beter, but at least do have it doing its job will improve life in general.

Good luck, Kees
