Okay...I've had my Powerbook for three or 4 years now and I think the battery is dying...but I'm not sure, it could be more.

When I plug the power supply in, instead of staying Orange until the battery has charged, it will rotate every few seconds between Orange and Green. I'm not sure if there is a connection problem or if my battery is at the end of it's life. I let it flicker/charge all night and then checked the charge buy pushing the button on the battery and all the lights lit up like it was fully charged. So I unplugged it and twenty minutes later it goes to sleep.

It can run medial tasks being plugged in with no problem. However, when I try to record using a USB powered audio interface (ProTools Mbox) I recieve a click every few seconds I my mintor. When I'm unplugged this click does not happen but the computer goes to sleep in 20 minutes...any suggestions?

If you've had the battery for four years, it could be dying. Not sure about your second problem regarding the audio issue. Try downloading Coconut Battery and see what it says about your battery. You will be able to tell how much total charge capacity is left, as a percentage. If the percentage is low, you might want to go get a new battery. I've read that getting four years out of a battery is good, so it might just be time to get yourself a new one.
