best firewire webcam

I am looking for a firewire webcam that has a good light-sensitive lens and allows me to record 30frames per second at 640x480.
I snooped around, but I didn't find any tests and not even any sell-offers.
Anyone who can help me finding a good one?
Perhaps some test-links?

How is that ugly webcam the apple-store offers?

tnx a lot

Cheers
Sam

I've seen the Unibrain (www.unibrain.com) firewire webcam, being demo'd on tv. It looks pretty good! Full res, full frame rates. You can also daisy-chain two or more together.

But it's pretty expensive (last time I checked, $140US)...U could always use virtual pc, and get a regular webcam. *l*

would it make sense? I mean 800Mbit... It could even have enough bandwidth at 1600x1200 @ 100frames! ;-)
I think, firewire 400 is more than enough for a webcam. But still I am missing some great advices. This unibrain one looks really ugly! ;-)

Ah yes....form vs function! :D True, it looks like pretty bad, but still better looking than the ones at The Company Store in Cupertino! :)

oh, btw, I just got my latest macwarehouse (canadian) catalog. And it lists the Ipods for $269, $369 and $469can respectively.

I wonder if I call them up and try to order at that price, that they'll let me? :D
