Better OS X.2 software for PowerBook G4/500

Originally I bought OS X.1 for my original PowerBook G4. Then I bought the upgrade to OS X.2.

After getting my new 1GHz PowerBook G4, I did a little experiment--using its restore disk to install OS X to the older generation PowerBook G4.

Guess what? Now OS X runs even speeder and smoother on my PowerBook G4/500.

Just an interesting experiment I'd like to share with you guys.

I sort of thought that was the case. For all my clients who were using 10.1 and got the 10.2 upgrade and asked me to install it, I used my full version of 10.2 to do the archive install for them rather then use their upgrade.



I figure they own a copy of 10.2, it shouldn't matter how it is installed.
