I know, an old problem, but it just started happening to m4 700mhz flat screen i-mac. Sometimes the screen is black at start-up, other times after waking from sleep. I have done all the pram, pmu stuff and am looking fo any other solutions to this problem. Please help, very frustrating to have put it to sleep 4-5 times to get the screen to come back.
