My G3 cant find the startup disk...ive tried to boot from a cd, zapped the pram numerous time and tried to boot from OF...nothing is working, any ideas?

Are you getting the flashing question mark? Did you try to zap the PRAM for at least 4 chimes before you let it try to boot?
Is it the Beige G3? If so, reset the CUDA (with the power cord unplugged). The CUDA button is on the motherboard, back left by the PCI slots. Press and hold for about 10 seconds, plug it back in and try again.
Oh - did you check your PRAM battery? The do eventually go bad - they're supposed to be 3.6 volts.
