Nice forum. Lots of helpful advice to keep my iMac G3 and PowerBook G4 running smooth and looking good, but I've met an odd problem and I need help.
I just installed a brand new Apple AirPort Wireless Card (802.11b) into my Blue iMac G3 500 Mhz. I followed the installation instructions (albeit brief instructions) that came with my iMac exactly. Turn the iMac back on and I can't seem to find the AirPort Card in the system profiler. It seems the computer isn't detecting it. So, I rinsed and repeated the installation 3 more times just incase I didn't push the antenna in all the way or so other minor detail. Still the OS 10.3.8 is still not detecting the AirPort Card in the system profiler nor can I see the card in the network configurator. Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.

). I am just hoping the lot of you might have other ideas. I supposed something could be wrong with the antenna where it attaches to the computer. I dig a little more into the computer tomorrow. If any of you have any other ideas, please share them.
