Bluetooth Built-in vs Dongle

Does anyone have an opinion on using a dongle Bluetooth module on a 2.5 PowerMac versus getting the built in module?
I just received my dual G5 and have been using a bluetooth mouse on my powerbook for some time. I also use a bluetooth PDA, and would consider a cordless keyboard too. I know I can get a dongle for 40 or less and the built in for about 75.

Opinions?

Can you still get the onboard module after you've received yours? I thought it was hardwired on.

If you go for an external dongle get your hands on a class 1 bluetooth device which has a much higher range.

Yes you can get the module. It is a plug-in module that is a little deeper in the system than Apple would like you to go. But for a PC tech and Mac addict, like me (or really anyone, how hard is it to remove two screws and ground yourself from static) - it is about a 3 minute job.
