bluetooth on or off?

so i have a bluetooth module for my powermac now. i have the option to turn it on and off. why would i want it off?

Because if you're not using it, it just burns your brain and generally adds to your electro-smog-filled room. However, I guess the turning-off option is more for portable users who want to save energy.
