Boards screwed up?

Is anybody else having some weird problem with the boards?

MacOSX.com was down for about 30 minutes today, and when I came back, the times on all of the posts seem to be messed up, and I can't see some of my own posts even though the link says that I'm the last person to post in the thread (e.g.: "Dear American Sports Fans" thread).
 
There's defintely something weird going on; just replied to a thread, and that thread inverted itself: the original post became the latest, and mine showed at the top, as if it were the first.
I definitely agree with RacerX on the feeling.
 
Ahh, thank dog. I was getting paranoid -- the time is all messed up, but when I tried to find new posts there was nothing I hadn't already seen.

I do have to admit that I had a little fun with precognition and the B&G thread... :D
 
It looks like the server went down and came back up with central time instead of GMT. We have all be transported back 6 hours! Time travel is possible!

Wow -- just a few minutes ago I was doing some precognition in the B&G. Now it's six hours later. Where does the time go? ;)
 
Yeah that was really confusing me. I ended up replying twice in one thread because I didn't see my reply. (I deleted the extra post though)
 
yea.. especially in the American Sports Fans thread... i was posting in the middle of the thread and was like WHAT!?

yea i am a bit dizzy, but it may not be cuz of the boards :D

Yea, that thread is hopelessly screwed up unless you read it earlier. Ah, well.

Nice to know the boards are back to normal, though. Did admin upgrade the software or something? Anybody know why it went down and got screwed up?
 
This concludes the "Admin-shakes-up-the-fora-to-see-if-anyone-notices" test. Had this been an actual emergency, the tone you just heard would have been followed by a lot of screaming.
