boosting the G3 to the LIMIT!

Okay, here's the deal.
I have a G3/300 (the processor was bought at macsales.com) I boosted it up to 366 MHz by moving the jumpers around.
I want to take it to even faster speeds...
is there a limit?
can I hook uo 1 or 2 processor coolers to reduce the processor heat and thus allowing it to go faster without any "freezing" problem?
if so, where do I plug it/them in?

the thing is that nowadays is very difficult for me to upgrade to a better machine.....

the dirty dirty money!
:)

thank you all!

I wouldn't push it any further than 25% past it's 'official' clock speed. What happens is the processor is tested at the factory at various speeds. They find a point at which it attains near-perfect reliability and then rate it about 10-20% slower than that clock speed. By overclocking it you are taking it beyond the point at which it will function reliably so you might be risking a processor crash.

Adding heat sinks and processor fans will help solve the heat problem ... but heat isn't the only reason an overclocked processor will crash.

If you need more speed, it would be far more cost effective to just get a faster processor - 2nd hand if need be - than to risk frying your existing processor and then having to get a new one anyway.
