Boot ROM Version Requirement For OS 9.2.1

I am preparing to upgrade from OS 8.6 to 9.2.1 then to 9.2.2 on my rev B iMac, and I've seen several postings about firmware problems going from 8.6 to 9. I currently have Boot ROM version 3.0.f3. Am I good to go? I've checked Apple's list of available updates and it looks like I'm okay, but there is nothing (that I could find) stating the firmware version level required for OS 9. Thanks.

Yes I'm hanging on to my 9.2.2 as long as I can to. I'm not sure what you need, but I have back ups to OS 8.6 Let me know if I can help.

Just to be on the safe side go to:

Download the firmware update and print the web page as it has the instructions.

Follow the instructions and if you get a dialog box stating you do not need to install this update, then you are good to go.

If you do not get that dialog box, follow the instructions to install.
