hi I Bought the new 20" Dual Intel Imac G5 a couple of months ago with mighty mouse, running OSX 10.4.4 with 1 GB Ram and identified two problems.
1. Bumpy Scroll when the vertical scroll bar is dragged up/down. you know the old fashioned way of holding the mouse down over the scroll bar and dragging up/down. It efffects both text and pictures across the whole width of the page, i.e they "jump" or "Ripple" similar to the effect you'd get if you dragged a narrow magnifying glass down the page. It happens in any document in any application that has a vertical scroll bar. Don't think this is anintellimouse problem as it also happens when I use the old wireless mouse.
I mentioned it to the retailer and have gotten nowhere.
Don't know if there's something wrong with the video card or the actual LCD screen itself.
Your help is appreciated.
2. Runaway Mouse pointer (which I'm told is caused by to reflective surfaces) though I still get it happening on a black surface of a reversed mouse pad)
cheers
chris
