Odd and intermittent problem when burning audio cds with Toast and DragonBurn.
I use iTunes to convert from mp3 to aiff and then either save playlist and import into DragonBurn or drag-and-drop into Toast. Then set track gap to zero. (My LaCie Firewire burner won't work with iTunes unless there's the unwanted 2sec track gap.)
Most work fine. Sometimes, though...
Toast converts the aiffs to its own variant (lesser rate) aiff and then adds back the 2 sec gap. And refuses to accept other than 2sec.
Or DragonBurn adds around a 20sec gap - although the display shows zero; it's only apparent on subsequent play..
I've no idea why, not what the solution may be. Currently there's a handful of playlists which refuse to behave - although stuff burned before and after is fine and it seems confined to specific playlists.
Suggestions appreciated.
