Burn Underrun Protection???

This probably goes into the hardware or software section, but since I'm here and I like it in here ;) I figured what the heck.

I was burning a disc and this came up! Anyone else get this? Very strange...

if i am not mistaken, i believe too much information was transfered to the device and the buffer (memory?) of the device was filled up to the point where it was getting too much and dumped it because it couldn't write it fast enough....

i am not completely sure but i think thats what happens
 
Newer CD-RWs have a feature called "Buffer Underrun Protection" that will slow down the burning or "pause" it if it is going to run out of buffer, until it can be re-filled from the computer.

This is sometimes called "BURN-Proof"
