burning audio cd

I have burned cd's before with no problem. Now however I get a message that reads "you have inserted a disc that contains no volumes that mac os X can read"
any ideas?
 
Check System Preferences > CDs & DVDs and be sure what it is set to do when inserting a blank CD. Generally Ask what to do is the best option.
