buying hardware for my powermac.

i've ordered a new dual 867 and i'm hoping to get the following for it:
internal CD burner (24x +)
another HD (80 gig +)
more RAM (DDR SDRAM 2100 512MB +)

how do i know what will fit in it? how do i know mac os X.2 will find it and it will work alright? i'm new at the mac tower thing, so i'd like some pointers.

Well everything should work right, the ram and hardrive are pretty standardized and the burner should work if it is supported other than that from what i've read about the new systems everything should fit.Not the most informative answer around but i'm not really the most informed nor informative "person" around either.
