Calendar Entries Lost After Ios 9.3.3 Update

All entries lost. Will not resync entries with mac. Backup restore did not restore entries. So I did a complete erase and reinstall. Still no calendar entries. Contacts did resync. Someone please help.
 
On your phone, try turning off sync, then after a few minutes turn it on.
Are you logged into iCloud on your Mac? That’s in System Preferences.
