We had an alarming experience with the family ibook today. My wife logged in and up came a black darwin command line screen. When I came home it was back at the login screen, I logged in and got the same. When I logged out I got the login screen, but came logging in just got me to the black screen of darwin! I seem to have resolved it by doing a shutdown from the power switch. But we have no idea why it would start doing that. Any info?
