Can anyone boot an AppleCare CD on the new iMacs?

Do not read this sign.
I guess the AppleCare box and CD I bought may as well go in the trash. The CD crashes the computer when I boot from it. It barely starts its startup routine and then Whammo! the I get a B/W crash dialog box.

I saw another person with the same problem with an iBook at the Apple store.

Can anyone confirm that their AppleCare CD does boot the new iMac?

It's nice that Apple includes TechTools and all on the CD, but it's crap if the CD only crashes on startup.

No, just support at the Apple retail store. They think the value of AppleCare is in the service, not the software.

Well, I have to agree with that, but why are they giving people CD's that crash their computers? It's not like I installed some unstable extension on their CD. =)
