Since I've upgraded to X, I have not been able to get accurate color out of my Epson 1280.
I was using an Epson 1520 w/StyleScript running in classic and al the colors were great. Resolution isn't as good as the 1280 though, and it eats too many resources.
Now what I am doing is taking any files with Postscript, importing them into Photoshop. Color correcting using ColormatchRGB Profile, and printing. However, there is no consistency with how colors match the prints...some great, most not.
Any thoughts on how to calibrate, or just recommend a postscript printer that will work natively in X.2?
Assistance is greatly appreciated.
