I would like to use my iBook (recent switcher) away from my desk w/o having to hook up a long phone extension wire. Where I live, I'm stuck with dial-up service; no other option except satelite ( way too $$$). I've read about products called Wi-flyer and Nebo-? that use a dial-up modem to connect and allows wireless browsing. I'm wondering if there are any other products or methods available that do the same thing (airport express, lynksys, etc.) Also would like to occasionally share the connection w/pc. Is this possible? Since I'm a complete techno-boob, any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanx in advance.

Before we had broadband, we used an original Apple Airport and share our dial-up amongst our 'Books. An Apple Airport Extreme WITH a modem (they sell them both with and without modems) would be an ideal, but slightly pricey solution for you, and fairly easy to use.
