Can I make Finder ignore blank CDs?

Sogni

*gone*
I do all my CD Burning through Toast - I never use the Finder anymore.

I want to either make Finder ignore blank CDs OR auto-launch Toast.

Any ideas, tricks, hacks? :)

Thanks

Nope. You're trapped. You have to live your whole life with Finder asking if it shall prepare the CDs you insert for burning :p

Uhm, I'm not sure, but I think a very handy shareware util called "TinkerTool" might be able to do that. Search for it on http://www.versiontracker.com/macosx :)

simple, just launch toast before you insert the blank cd ... then you won't get any messages from the finder ... :D

You posted that just to reach 500 posts, didn't you? :p ;)

Yeah, I saw that seconds after I posted the message... So that's much much better! But, still... I usually go for a blank CD first instead of launching Toast. :D

I'll look for the tinker tool and see if that does anything once I get to my studio (where my Mac is - on a PeeCee at home! And don't get me started - I want to replace it with the new iMac so BAD! heh).

Thanks! :)
