I realize this problem has been brought up before, but I've reviewed the postings and have not seen my same problem...or at least there've been no resolutions posted.
I have a 2x 2.5ghz G5 tower used mostly for photoshop and other biz related apps. It was purchased almost 2yrs ago and still under AppleCare. I've brought this problem to the so-called MacGenius' who said upgrading to Tiger should solve it. Problem has not been solved.
Drive works fine as DVD&CD-ROM, but can not burn DVD's. I'm away from that computer at the moment and don't have the error code but can post it later.
I'm open to any suggestions...short of a clean install
