There Was An Error Connecting To The Server Check The Server Name Or Ip Address And Try Again.


also returned this error.....Sorry, the operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occured. (error code -5002)
 
Just nitpicking: But you _do_ mean a Mac, and not a MAC-address of a network card, right?
 
-5002 = Bad UAM (User Authentication Mechanism)...

Hm... using smb, or test this? Setting the passwords to be in clear. Also this has a few steps that may work.

If those don't work...
Does smb work?
Does it happen on all users of your Mac?
Which version os OS X and which Netware?
