Cannot find Safari

My mother and I share a MB with me as the Admin. I have safari as an icon rather than at the dock, but my mother's account in the MB is fairly new so hers is still in the dock.
She was able to see her mail in AOL, so there's still some kind of Internet connection. Also, I checked in my account and Safari is still working fine.
But apparently the Safari in her dock was accidentally dragged upward, where it disappeared. Now we cannot find Safari, and it wasn't working well to begin with.
However, it does work in my administrator account.
So where can we find Safari if it's not in the dock?
 
The icon in the Dock is only a pointer to the real application. If you have not moved it, then you will find Safari in the global Applications folder. This is the Applications folder that you see in the Finder sidebar.
