Cannot Turn Off Printer Sharing

Hi! I tried to follow a guide I found to setup a wireless printing connection to my XP desktop, and never could get it to work. Now I cannot get Printer Sharing to turn off and cannot connect to the printer when it is connected to the USB port on my iBook. I think I screwed up something in the UNIX commands. Can someone help me straighten this out? iBook G3 800 10.3.9
