I'm running a G5 1.8 (single) and I bought a Canon Lide 80. Now it was horrible to set up, but I did manage to get it working. But now it refuses to do anything at all, even using the buttons on the scanner itself.
I have tried a different cable, and swapped from the rear port on the G5 to the front.
Also re-installed driver and Canon Toolbox.
OSX reports that the Canon IS there, but it just will not move.
I did hear that you have to manually change permissions in the Library, but I can't seem to find a suitable file to hack into, and it's a bit dangerous to randomly pick something I guess....
Any ideas? Rumours? Fixes?
