Canon Printer

Hi, I have installed a Canon i455 printer on my PC with Windows and would like to print on my Power Book with 10.3.9... Problem is, I can't get the PowerBook to see the shared printer... The drivers are installed on the PowerBook, so if I plug the printer to it, there'll be no problem...

Does anybody know what I would be doing wrong???

I think shared printers in Windows don't work with Mac OS X in general. But I can be wrong about that.

Sorry, the problem was wrongly stated... I can see the printer, but not the correct driver... If I connect the printer directly to the powerbook the driver appears without problems... But when I try to configure the remote printer the correct driver doesn't appear... I have tried the CUPS version of the S-450 but it prints vertically shrinked... My printer is the i455... Thanx for your help...
