Canon software and Tiger

As anyone managed to get Canon Easy-print Exif software running on Tiger?

Mine fails everytime - I have re-installed, but still get the same results.

The software came with my IP5000 printer, and was working fine under Panther.

I installed it (came with an IP4000R) and it works perfectly on Tiger. Have you checked if there is a newer version on Canon's website?

Can you check your version please... Mine is 3.0.1.2 - Re-installed, and still crashes when starting.

Canon says they have support for OS X 10.4: http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/co...code=macdr&fcategoryid=257&modelid=10439#faq1

But they are a bit vague when they say they "will" upload a new driver that "will" support Tiger. (Read down the page a bit.) Sounds to me like they posted 10.4 information without actually posting the correct driver yet. Could be wrong…

Look like that to me... Even says 'if Easy Print is not working, ensure you use 10.4 driver' - then says that there isn't one....

Hmmm, subtle way of saying 'may work one day'!

This is what's installed on my Macs (works an all 3: iBookG4/G4 Digital Audio/PowerBook G4):

Easy Print 3.2.0.7
CD-Label Print 1.2.0
Printer Driver: 3.1.0
