CanoScan 600 question

I have recently purchased a new G5 IMac. I am a switcher. I have had for quite some time a Canoscan 600 w/scsi interface. I know that there is software available from Hamrick.com, but what is the best usb-scsi converter to use with the scanner. I really don't want and don't need to buy a new scanner. This one works just fine.

I hate to say this, but it is probably cheaper and easier to just get a new scanner. They are so cheap these days. SCSI devices were hard enough to keep running without going through a USB conversion. I love what the Hamrick people have done to keep old equipment running, and they deserve to make money, but the cost of their software is close to the price of a scanner that it doesn't seem cost effective.
