I have my iMac networked with my PC & mount the desktop folder of my PC on the desktop of my iMac as a share. (So I can quickly & easily send files & folders between the 2 computers).
From my iMac I drop files onto the PC desktop share to copy them there.
But on my PC when I try to open copied files, move files/folders etc. I always get the message that I can't open/move/delete the file or folder as it's being used by another person or program.
So I have to disconnect the PC desktop share on my iMac before I can do anything with the file or folder on my PC.
Is there any way I can set it up so that I don't have to keep connecting & disconnecting the share on my iMac?
(If I send files from my PC to my iMac I can move them, delete them or whatever without any problems).
