Can't access my keychain

I cannot access the keychain on my ibookG4 which has OSX10.4.11.

Click on the icon and the picture flashes in the sidebar and dissappears. I have tried the Help and Dummies with no success.
I have not changed my passwords but the book was returned to Apple to correct faults and then again to correct the faults that
Apple had caused by correcting the faults.

How can I access my keychain please and don't be too technical please?
 
Your post was in the wrong section, so I moved it to the correct place.

When you click on the icon, are you clicking on the icon in the Utilities folder?
 
you could try resetting the keychain this would in fact delete all your keychain content but might fix the problem go onto the hard drive (usually called Macintosh HD from factory) click the libraries folder find the folder named "keychain" move it to the trash and empty the trash than restart the computer. This is just one potential method that did not work for me. Maybe you can have better luck. :)
