Can't connect LaCie HD

Hi

i've got myself an LaCie 200GB HD for my old Powerbook G3 running on OS X 10.2.8

but i can't mount it. In Disk Utilities the HD appears, but the Connection ID is unkown and i cant mount it.

Does anyone know this problem or the solution to solve it??

You need a third party drive set up to format the drive. Did it come with any software? Like SilverKeeper or SilverLining? That is what is recommended to use to format the drive.
