you for any help....

When was the last time you actually quit open apps? (double tap the home button; push & hold an open app in the bottom row; hit 'X' in all open apps).

When was the last time you reset & restarted your iPhone? (hold power and home button simultaneously; release & slide to power off; wait till phone totally shuts down; restart with power button.

When all else fails, Sync in iTunes, then 'restore' from last sync.

ok i guess i dont understand what you mean by quit open apps?...but i have done it where Xs were on all of them except the one i want to delete...i did the reset and restarted it 2 times today.... now the last thing you said to try...if i restore...i wont lose anything will i?
so i connect my iphone to my mac click on summary....i have the latest version on my iphone....so then do i click on... restore?.... thank you very much for any help....

If you use an app and then close it, it really isn't closed. Many apps continue to run in the background. IMHO, this 'drains' your available memory. Double click your home button--very fast. You will see many, many apps that are still 'open', across the bottom. Push & hold 1 of them and they will all show the 'X'. Start pushing X's until they're all 'closed'. (Count as you do so---I'll betting you'll exceed 40-50 apps!)

As said, sync 1st, then click restore. You will be given a sync to restore to. Pic the one you just did and continue. You will NOT loose anything.

Hey SGilbert...it worked..... the app is gone..... and i didn't lose anything on my iphone
Phew....Thank you soooo much....it was driving me crazy.... this is my 3rd Mac computer
