Can't Eject Disk - Please Help!

Hi, I have a ti/500 15" laptop and have run the wipe disc option on it via Nortons CD.

Now I can't get the disc out so I can reformat the disc with the original Mac software disc.

How do I get the Norton's disc out - I can't see a paperclip hole anywhere or anything. As there is no software on the Hard disc I can't choose it from the startup disk. HELP!!!

Try booting up while holding down option, the Norton CD should come up as a boot disk and you might be able to eject it from there and insert your system CD.
 
Hi,

I have the Ti 1Ghz with superdrive, and sometimes the CD image is lost from the desktop, and Apple systrem profiler does not even see the drive. Freaked me ut the first time this happened, since I had an audio Cd stuck in the drive and thought the worst about the computer.

However, rebooting, and holding the mouse button down, causes the CD to be ejected, and fixed this problem.

Mouse button down on re-boot is supposed to eject the CD, so you might want to try that.
