i have set up and account using ldapv3 which i am able to log into on any client but it cann't find the home directory located on the server.
i have configured the account to automount the home directory and have specified a directory on the server but still no luck.
i think it may be related to another porblem i am having which is as follows. my xserve consists of 3 160gb harddisk. 1 for OS x, 2 for accounts and 3 for backup via retrospect. when i log into my server it report that there are volumes that os x can't read. if i remove the data drives then i don't get the problem so there is something on these drives that os xserver doesn't like? wrong disk format maybe?. i can browse them fine.
